This is where I’m supposed to talk about me.

Alrighty then, let’s get started.

I’m me.

Haha. Yea. Never mind.

I’m Hrishikesh Thite, currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer-Aided Management Programme at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in Kolkata, India (Batch of 2010). I’m an Electrical Engineer from the Sardar Patel College of Engineering, affiliated to the Mumbai University (Batch of 2006).

I have about twenty months of work experience with Atos Origin India Pvt. Ltd. as a Software Engineer on a UK Goverment project in the medical domain dealing with workflow automation using FileNet and a Java/J2EE based architecture. I’ve also worked with UPS Hygienes Pvt. Ltd. as a software consultant for three months prior to my work at Atos.

I provide domain registration and web-hosting services at extremely reasonable rates, with about fifteen plus websites currently hosted, and over thirty domains sold to independent societies, MSMEs and individuals. Please drop me an email if you are interested in engaging my services in this regard at hthite AT gmail DOT com.

I’m passionate about IT and its use in optimizing tasks. I’m also rather keen on Railways (or Railroads as Americans call them).

This blog is meant to be a placeholder for arbit cribs, rants, reviews, philosphical ponderings and the like. There have been enough times when I’ve wanted to make it more structure and write more serious things, but the time and / or motivation eludes me. Like this page – I’ve just updated it now, after over three years of the blog’s existence. For more personal information, look me up on Orkut.
